Finished up a few things.

First, I had a couple of birthdays that I needed to do cards for.

A busy Thanksgiving holiday......

 I had several days off @ Thanksgiving and got into finishing up the rest of the Christmas cards along with a few other things.

 Here's a couple of tags to go with some gifts that I made.

 

And here's the tray that I made for my mother's Christmas gift.  It will give her hours of just sitting and looking all the things included in each little box.

 

And she asked for some more cards to used so I made these up.

She was happy to get everything when we went to visit.

I wanted to do a few Halloween treat bags for co-workers and I thought these came out pretty cute.

Starting on Christmas......

Because I care...

Just wanted a friend to know that I know he's having a tough time dealing with health issues so I made this little card up to let him know.....

 

First time really, that I cut one from a cartridge and wanted to not be too 'girly' so I thought this one came out pretty good.

 

It DID lift his spirits!

All dressed up....

I like making little 'smilies' for my friends.....they just seem to brighten an ordinary day.  This little purse reminded me of one of my friends when I saw it.   This one I didn't make very large, just enough to maybe hold some paperclips or whatever on her desk.  I thought it came out pretty cute.

Getting Ready for Halloween!

I recently got the new 'Artiste' cartridge from Close to My Heart.  When I came across this, I couldn't resist in making a few of these for Halloween treat boxes.  Aren't they cute?!

 

The card on top is in the shape of a bat.

The wings fold up to hide the Boo! that I added inside.

Masculine touch...

I determined that I needed to make a few masculine cards. I thought this one filled that bill quite well. I had seen the verbiage used on someone else's card and thought it was pretty cute and went well with the background paper.

Some simple changes

I decided to 'tweak' my craft area a little.  I felt the area was overtaking the rest of the room and it wasn't really necessary......so I consolidated and organized a little more.  Plus with the help of hubby, we added a shelf to help get some things off the desk, but still keep them close at hand.

Plus I made a birthday card for future use.  I thought it came out rather cute and not too 'girly'.

Got a special friend who had a birthday yesterday.  Here's the card I made for her.....she turned 60!

A simple card....

I had a friend who lost her mother recently. I wanted to make a simple card to send to her, and this is what I came up with.

Ok, so maybe it hasn't really been that long, and I wasn't totally 'dedicated' to this project, but I am happy to report that it's all done. Totally hand-sewn except for the final bind-off closing

I rather enjoyed this quilt, it wasn't all that hard to do and trust me when I say that it's not perfect, but it will do....And I've already managed to 'nap' under it once or twice, so it works!



And amazingly, for some reason, it's yellow....which isn't really my favorite color.

All about the paper

I have these pads of paper that I thought were so cool and decided to let the paper be the decoration of a few cards.  Here's what I came up with.......
