I see a zombie and some ghosts

Here are the ghosts that I promised.  I got the idea off the internet and
these are pretty darn easy to make.  It called for white bridal paper bells,
cheesecloth and some black paper.  You assemble the bells per instructions,
cut out the eyes and mouth out of the black paper and drape with
cheesecloth.  I added the tea lights underneath to help
with the effect.  I thought they came out really cute.

And here's the Zombie from the Movable Monsters on the
Cricut craftroom site.

Weekend full of this and that.....

It's been a busy weekend and I've managed to complete several projects with various themes.  First up, the last card of the ones that a friend asked me to make for her.

My second attempt at a 'swing card'.  I think it came out pretty cute.  My friend was pleased with all the cards that I had made for her, plus 2 extras that I took along in case she wanted to 'change' some out.

Next up, Halloween decorations. We're decorating at our office and I was able to whip up a few things to hang around.  I've got one more thing that I made, I'll have to take pictures after I set it up to let you see.
The witch came off of the Movable Monsters cartridge
that Cricut has.  I purchased the abbreviated version thru the Cricut Craftroom.
I just realized I made a zombie too and forgot to take a picture of it.

These skeletons are cute, I did three and I'm going to dangled them from something to
that they hang.

And of course, where's Halloween without spiders.

The project that I managed to finish up is
our Christmas cards this year.

There are 2 mains ones, that I did several of, plus a single
card.

I thought this came out really cute.  I saw a video over on Youtube
the other day showing how to do this how to do this pinwheel and I just
fell in love with it. The video is by 'stampwithtami' if you want to
give it a 'look-see'.  It's really not that hard.

This one is the single card:

Plus I have another friend who has a
birthday this week, so I did a quick card
for her.

I thought it came out pretty cute.

OK, I'm tired, later!

Birthday cards for a co-worker

I had a co-worker as me the other day if I would make her some hand-made birthday cards for her.  I told her I would.  Her only request was that at least one of them had to have pearls on it. (inside family story).  She asked for 6 cards and I got 5 of them made this past weekend.....one to go. But I thought I'd share those that I've completed so far.

This one flips up to show Happy Birthday inside. (with pearls on the outside)

This one opens from the middle to display Happy Birthday (additional one with pearls)

Opens to the right, and I took strips of paper and wove them to
make the background.

I love this card shape, I've used it before and just think it's so cute.

One with a flower and rhinestones

Hope she will be pleased with these.

New craft room

I took some time off last Friday to do a few things around the house.  The main project was to move ALL of my craft stuff to one room.  Most of my card making supplies was in the office room.  As crafts do, it grew and grew ultimately requiring more space.

I also have knitting supplies and sewing items.  I felt it was time to create a dedicated area in the house.  Which meant moving some (HEAVY) exercise equipment out of a small bedroom into the rec room and moving all my other needs into that small bedroom.  I was able to do a lot of it myself, but honey THANKS for helping with that treadmill!

Here's the result:

Not too bad huh?  I was able to utilize the closet space also for lots of storage and organizing.  But I forgot to take a picture of it for you.

Also, since this room is upstairs hubby thought I might need a little heat.  He found this small space heater that does the job.  That way I don't have to heat up the whole upstairs area when I just in this one room.  It's really cute, looks like a small burning wood stove when I turn it on.  And the cat is fascinated with the flickering light on the wall behind it.

Simple cards

I made some quick cards this week for my mother to use. These first
ones are 4x4 inches in size.  I made the envelopes
to go along with them by using then Envelope Punch Board.

These next ones are 3x3 inches in size and again, made the
envelopes to go along.
